Frequently asked questions
You’ve got questions?
-
I do, I do!
My office is at 390 Commerce Drive, Ft. Washington, PA.

Essentially, the same as in person. Some people really like it - it IS very convenient. We will “meet” through a HIPAA compliant video link, so we will be able to see and hear each other in session. The sessions are the same length as in person (1 hour the first session, 50 minutes after that).
-
Our first session will be an hour. Typically clients come in with a lot on their minds and a lot to say. We may spend most of the session on your story and what brought you to therapy. You may have questions for me too, which I’m happy to answer at any time during our work together.

Through Headway, a third-party billing company, I am in network with the following insurance:
- Aetna (Pennsylvania & Virginia)
- Cigna (Pennsylvania)
- Quest (Pennsylvania)
Separately, I am in network with Aetna Student Health.
If you choose to use your insurance, your co-pay and deductible are governed by your insurance. If you have questions about how much you can expect to pay using your insurance, please contact your insurance company directly.
For Private Pay clients, my fee is $150 per session.
It is up to you to decide if you want to use your insurance. The big plus is that it is more affordable. A downside can be that your information is not just between me and you.
-
The truth is, I don’t know. In the beginning, especially if you want to change some things that are going on in your life, I would expect we would meet weekly for 4-6 weeks. After that, we can gauge how the process is working for you and adjust as needed.

A Good Faith Estimate helps clients understand and plan for costs. This estimate is available upon request at any time during our work together.
